Jones Maltsberger Road is one of those busy San Antonio corridors where accuracy and speed matter. When a valued client needed reliable mapping to support roadway improvements, they knew the work had to be done quickly and safely—without sacrificing precision. That’s when they brought in FORCE.

How We Tackled It Together

We deployed small drones equipped with LiDAR sensors and high-resolution cameras to fly the 1.2-mile stretch of Jones Maltsberger Road. With traffic and multiple intersections to account for, we designed flight paths with extra overlap to ensure seamless coverage and accuracy.

Our field crews and data specialists worked in lockstep, validating every detail. The focus was on turning complex aerial captures into clear, structured information that the client could immediately put to use in their design workflows.

In just two weeks, the client received:

• Georeferenced orthomosaic of the full corridor
• 2D and 3D planimetric features ready for engineering applications
• Dense point cloud and surface models providing a dependable design foundation
